With its crystal clear waters and gently shelving white sand, Nissi Beach is gorgeous to look at and a great place to chill out and top up your tan. Beach lies about 3 km west of Ayia Napa. This is where the youngsters parade their bodies and the girls tan torsos. Wide sand bar splits the huge sandy beach into two, creating shallow, sheltered waters that are ideal for all ages especially children. Famous Nissi beach attracts thousands of young visitors from all over the continent every year. One of the big advantages of the beach is that Nissi is very well sheltered from the wind and sea swells. Beach has every type of water sports one can imagine (windsurfing, jet ski, banana riding, bungee jumping, rings, flying sofa….) as well as beach volley court. Showers, changing rooms and toilets are at hand. No Visit to Ayia Napa is complete without some time spent at Nissi Beach. It's not only Ayia Napa's biggest daytime hot spot but one of the most popular beaches on the whole island of Cyprus and Mediterranean. Everyday from May until October beach parties are held at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar featuring some of best known local DJ's as well as guest artists and celebrities. Place is famous for its foam parties to and all other kinds of fun. Music blares from several beach bars so this is no place to take a nap or have a good chill out. Just few minutes walk there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The beach gets packed in summer and if you want a prime spot early arrival is a must.
