Limassol is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus halfway between Paphos and Larnaka. Limassol is the second largest urban area in Cyprus, with a population of around 200.000. Mediterranean coast of Limassol is stretch of around 14 kilometers of sand and is a perfect place for a day out with many bars & restaurants along the coastal path. There are many 4 & 5 star hotels along the coastline as well as newly built marina. Marina area is very popular among the locals as has lot of bars and restaurants to choose from located very close to the sea giving a true posh Mediterranean experience. The skyline of Limassol has left behind very little evidence of its historical past and given way instead to a modern, cosmopolitan appearance. However, the protected ancient monuments of the city hand over a rich trail of artefacts and mythical stories. Limassol Castle, The Amathus Ruins and the Mosque of Djami Kebir are a few of the beautiful sights worth visiting.
